Parisi Training Systems, Inc., which operates Parisi Speed School and Anatomy of Speed (collectively, “Anatomy of Speed,” “Parisi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit https://anatomyofspeed.com, purchase or use our courses, register for a live event or certification, create an account, contact us, or otherwise interact with services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy does not apply to independently owned Parisi Speed School locations, third-party websites, or services that do not link to this Privacy Policy. Those businesses and services maintain their own privacy practices.

1. Personal Information We Collect

“Personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked to an individual. The information we collect depends on how you interact with the Services.

Information You Provide to Us

We may collect:

• Contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing address, mailing address, and organization.

• Account information, such as your username, password or other authentication information, account preferences, and profile details.

• Order and payment information, such as the products or courses purchased, order amount, transaction status, billing information, refunds, and limited payment-card details made available by our payment processors. Payment-card information is generally collected and processed directly by third-party payment processors rather than stored by us in full.

• Course, event, and certification information, such as course enrollment, attendance, progress, quiz or assessment results, certification status, event selections, and continuing-education information.

• Professional information, such as your job title, coaching or training background, employer, gym or facility, professional interests, and business needs.

• Communications, including messages, form submissions, support requests, survey responses, telephone or text-message communications, and other correspondence with us.

• User content, such as comments, reviews, testimonials, profile images, uploaded files, photos, videos, or other content you choose to submit.

• Marketing preferences, including whether you want to receive promotional emails or text messages and your communication preferences.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information that we have not requested.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

• Your IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, device identifiers, language, and general geographic location derived from your IP address.

• Pages viewed, links clicked, referring and exit pages, dates and times of visits, session duration, search activity, shopping-cart activity, checkout activity, course interactions, and other usage information.

• Advertising and attribution information, such as referring URLs, campaign identifiers, and UTM, gclid, or fbclid parameters.

• Cookie identifiers, pixels, tags, local-storage data, and similar technology information.

• Information used to detect fraud, abuse, automated traffic, security threats, and technical errors.

Information From Other Sources

We may receive information from payment processors, course or learning platforms, analytics and advertising providers, social-media platforms, referral partners, event partners, corporate affiliates, and organizations that purchase or sponsor training on your behalf. If an employer, gym, school, or other organization registers you for a course, we may receive your contact and registration information from that organization and may provide it with enrollment, completion, or certification information where appropriate and disclosed.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

• Process purchases, payments, refunds, registrations, and transactions.

• Create and manage accounts and provide access to online courses, materials, quizzes, certificates, and live events.

• Confirm eligibility for continuing-education credit or certification and maintain certification records.

• Provide customer service, respond to questions, and communicate about orders, accounts, courses, certifications, or events.

• Send administrative or transactional messages, including receipts, account notices, password-reset messages, event reminders, and service updates.

• Send promotional emails or text messages when permitted by law and consistent with your choices.

• Personalize content, remember preferences, maintain shopping carts, and improve the user experience.

• Measure site traffic, campaign performance, conversions, and engagement; conduct analytics; and improve our Services, courses, advertising, and business operations.

• Display and measure advertising, including interest-based or targeted advertising where permitted by law.

• Protect the security and integrity of the Services, detect and prevent fraud or misuse, enforce our agreements, and troubleshoot technical issues.

• Comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, and contractual obligations; respond to lawful requests; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We may combine information collected from different sources for these purposes. We may also aggregate or deidentify information so it can no longer reasonably identify you and use that information for lawful business purposes.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies. These technologies may be set by us or by third parties and generally fall into the following categories:

• Strictly necessary technologies support core functions such as security, account login, shopping carts, checkout, payment processing, load balancing, and fraud prevention.

• Functional technologies remember choices and improve site functionality.

• Analytics technologies help us understand how visitors use the Services and how the Services perform.

• Advertising technologies help us measure campaigns, understand conversions, build audiences, and deliver or measure advertising that may be more relevant to you.

The Services may use technologies provided by companies such as Google, Meta, WooCommerce, Vimeo, Stripe, PayPal, and other service providers. For example, Google Tag Manager or Google Analytics may help us deploy tags and understand site usage; Meta technologies may help us measure and deliver advertising; Vimeo may deliver embedded video; and reCAPTCHA or similar tools may help prevent spam and abuse. These companies may collect information directly from your browser or device and process it under their own privacy policies.

Where required, you can manage nonessential cookies through the cookie-consent tool made available on the Services. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may prevent parts of the Services from functioning properly. Your choices are generally specific to the browser and device you use, so you may need to repeat them on another browser or device or after clearing cookies.

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is not a single industry standard for responding to that signal, the Services may not respond to it. Where required by applicable law, we treat recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or its use for targeted advertising for the browser and device sending the signal.

4. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to:

• Service providers and contractors that perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, cloud storage, ecommerce, course delivery, customer relationship management, email or text-message delivery, analytics, advertising, customer support, security, spam prevention, accounting, and professional services.

• Payment processors and financial providers that process payments, refunds, disputes, and fraud screening. Current checkout options may include providers such as Stripe or PayPal.

• Course and event partners, instructors, venues, continuing-education organizations, or sponsoring organizations as reasonably necessary to administer a course, event, certification, or credit.

• Advertising and analytics partners that help us measure, personalize, and deliver advertising or understand use of the Services. Depending on applicable law, the use of advertising cookies or pixels may be considered “selling,” “sharing,” or processing personal information for targeted advertising, even when no money is exchanged for the information.

• Affiliates and related organizations for legitimate operational, administrative, and business purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.

• Government authorities, regulators, courts, and other third parties when we believe disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, property, users, or the public; investigate fraud or illegal activity; or enforce an agreement.

• Parties to a business transaction, such as an actual or potential buyer, investor, lender, insurer, adviser, or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction.

• Other parties at your direction or with your consent.

We do not sell personal information for money. We may, however, disclose identifiers and internet or electronic activity information to advertising and analytics partners in ways that may be treated as a “sale,” “share,” or targeted advertising under certain U.S. state privacy laws. Where those laws apply, you may opt out as described in Section 10.

5. Ecommerce and Payment Processing

Our store is powered by WooCommerce and may use third-party checkout, fraud-prevention, currency, tax, and payment services. When you make a purchase, payment providers receive the information needed to authorize and process the transaction. We generally receive transaction details such as the customer name, billing information, purchased item, amount, payment status, transaction identifier, and limited card details such as the card brand and last four digits, but we do not generally store your full payment-card number.

Payment providers process information under their own privacy policies and security standards. If you choose an accelerated checkout, digital wallet, installment service, or other third-party payment option, that provider’s terms and privacy policy also apply.

6. Email and Text Messages

We may send transactional messages relating to your purchases, account, course access, certification, or event registration. If you opt in or if otherwise permitted by law, we may also send marketing emails or text messages about Anatomy of Speed or related Parisi products, services, and events.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message. You may opt out of marketing text messages by replying STOP. For text-message help, reply HELP or contact us using the information below. Message frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchase. Opting out of marketing communications does not prevent us from sending non-promotional messages that are necessary to complete a transaction or administer your account.

7. Comments, Reviews, Media, and Public Content

If comments, reviews, or other public-posting features are available and you submit content, the information you post may be visible to other users or the public. We may collect the information entered into the form, your IP address, and browser information to help detect spam or abuse. Comments and reviews may be screened by an automated spam-detection service.

If the Services use Gravatar, an anonymized value generated from your email address may be sent to Gravatar to determine whether you use that service. If your comment is approved, your Gravatar profile image may be publicly visible with your comment. Gravatar is operated by Automattic and is subject to Automattic’s privacy policy.

If you upload an image, avoid including embedded location information, such as EXIF GPS data, unless you intend to share it. Other users may be able to download an image and extract embedded information. Do not post personal information you do not want made public.

8. Embedded Content and Third-Party Links

The Services may include embedded videos, social-media features, maps, images, articles, payment tools, or other content supplied by third parties. Interacting with embedded content may allow the third party to collect information as though you visited its website directly, including through cookies or tracking technologies. This may occur if you are logged in to an account with that third party.

The Services may also link to websites or services we do not control. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of third parties. Review their privacy policies before providing information.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain course and certification records, complete transactions, comply with tax and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and satisfy legal obligations.

Retention periods vary by the type of information and our relationship with you. For example:

• Order and transaction records may be retained for the period required by tax, accounting, chargeback, and legal obligations.

• Account, course-progress, and certification records may be retained while your account or certification is active and afterward as reasonably necessary to document completion or provide support.

• Customer-service communications may be retained as needed to resolve the request and maintain appropriate business records.

• Marketing information may be retained until you unsubscribe or object, after which we may keep limited suppression-list information so we can honor your request.

• Comments, reviews, and associated metadata may be retained until removed by us or in response to a valid request, subject to legal exceptions.

• Cookie and analytics data is retained according to the settings of the relevant technology or provider.

We may retain aggregated or deidentified information for longer when it cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

• Object to or request restriction of certain processing.

• Opt out of certain profiling or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We do not currently use personal information to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

• Appeal a decision we make regarding your privacy request, where applicable.

• Receive equal service and not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. Verification may require matching information you provide with information we already maintain. If we cannot verify a request, we may be unable to fulfill it. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law, but we may require proof of the agent’s authority and may verify your identity directly. To appeal a denied request, reply to our decision and state that you are requesting an appeal.

To opt out of targeted advertising or disclosures that may be considered a sale or sharing, use the cookie/privacy controls available on the Services, enable Global Privacy Control in a supported browser, or contact us. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16.

These rights are not absolute. We may deny or limit a request when an exception applies, such as when information is needed to complete a transaction, protect security, comply with law, maintain required records, or establish or defend legal claims.

California and Other U.S. State Disclosures

In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the categories described in Section 1, including identifiers; customer-record information; commercial information; internet or other electronic-network activity; approximate geolocation; professional or employment-related information; account credentials; communications and user content; and inferences drawn from activity or interests. We collect these categories from the sources described in Section 1, use them for the purposes described in Section 2, and disclose them to the recipients described in Section 4.

We do not sell personal information for money. We may have shared identifiers and internet or electronic activity information with analytics and advertising partners for advertising measurement or targeted advertising. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you. We do not offer a financial-incentive program tied to the collection, sale, or deletion of personal information.

EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

Where European data-protection law applies, we process personal information under one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract; compliance with a legal obligation; our legitimate interests, such as operating, securing, analyzing, and improving the Services and marketing our offerings; and consent, where required. You may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Our operations and service providers are primarily located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

11. Account Information

If you have an account, you may be able to review or update certain profile information by logging in. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion. We may retain information where required or permitted for transactions, certification records, legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, or other legitimate purposes. We may be unable to delete an account while a transaction, dispute, or legal retention requirement remains unresolved.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Individuals under 13 should not create an account, make a purchase, or submit personal information through the Services. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.

If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the Services only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians should supervise minors’ use of our training materials. Our courses and certifications are educational products for coaches, trainers, athletes, and other customers and are not a substitute for parental supervision or professional medical advice.

13. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and for notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, technology, legal requirements, or Services. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last Updated” date. If required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes.
